Nature Books for Local Libraries
Seneca Rocks Audubon and the Garden Club of Clarion County provide 5 new nature books to each of 9 libraries in Clarion County each year. Seneca Rocks Audubon also provides 5 books to each of 5 libraries in Forest, Jefferson, and Venango Counties.
This endeavor is entitled "The Nature Book Project".
These two organizations have provided selections to school and public libraries since 2009. Librarians are given a list of titles of fiction and nonfiction books selected by Seneca Rocks Audubon. Librarians then choose 5 specific titles to enhance their collections and support student learning.
