Chapter History
After a one year provisional charter, Seneca Rocks was granted full member status as a chartered chapter of National Audubon on May 13, 1985. The membership has grown from 82 members in 1985 to 245 in 2003. Seneca Rocks Audubon Society has been an active participant in habitat conservation efforts and a variety of bird surveys since its inception. The chapter newsletter, The Drummer, has been published since January of 1985.
